To achieve the same density with follicular units, you would need at least two hair follicular units consisting of 2 hairs each. Those two hair follicular units, charged at the same price of $3 per graft, would cost you $6.

The minimum procedure of grafts with Marquee Quality Plastic Surgery Center is 500 follicular units. The minimum amount you will ever have to pay for your surgery is $1,500, ($3 x 500). This is one of the lowest hair graft minimums you will ever find in the USA. ( Many Doctors don't want to waste their time on what they consider "small procedures" whether it is more beneficial to you or not.)

Another thing to be careful of is firms that say they charge $2 per hair follicular unit, or $3 per hair follicular unit - but read the fine print. This is usually the price per follicular unit AFTER you pay the full price on say 1,000 follicular units. This is called a sliding scale fee. In other words, the more follicular units you have implanted, the less cost per follicular unit.
